We collect your email address, phone number (when you verify for cashout), and survey responses to deliver rewards and improve our services. OpiniPop does not sell, rent, or lease your personal data. Survey responses may be shared with our research partners in anonymized form.
What we collect
Account info: Email address, password (hashed), and profile demographics you provide (age range, state, interests).
Survey responses: Your answers to surveys you complete. Responses are reported to research clients in aggregated, anonymized form.
Phone number: Only if you verify your mobile number for gift card cashout. Used solely for one-time SMS verification codes.
Usage data: Pages visited, surveys started/completed, and wallet activity, used to operate and improve the service.

Notwithstanding any other provision in this Privacy Policy, mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, and consent will not be shared with, sold to, or leased to any third parties, research partners, or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or any other purpose.
When you opt in to verify your mobile phone number for gift card cashout on OpiniPop, we collect your mobile number solely to send you requested one-time SMS verification codes in your Wallet.
Consent & Sharing: Mobile information and messaging consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell your mobile number.
Message Frequency: One message per verification request you initiate.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out: Reply STOP to opt out of further verification texts from OpiniPop.

Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
Survey partners: Aggregated, anonymized response data is shared with research clients. Individual responses are never shared with identifying information attached.
Service providers: We use third-party vendors (e.g. gift card fulfillment, email delivery, hosting) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
Data retention & deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support@opinipop.com or using the Delete Account option in Settings. Some data may be retained for fraud prevention or legal compliance purposes after deletion.
Cookies & tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your session. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell browsing data.
Children
OpiniPop is not directed at anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has registered, we will close the account and delete associated data.
